Or better yet, who is The Urban Suburbanite. The Urban Suburbanite is US--the modern day people who understands multilayered living. The urban roots that raised us continue to drive our hustle and has forced an evolution to embrace the comforts of suburban life.  

 

The Urban Suburbanite nods to the rhythm of a playlist that ranges from our parents' gospel and blues to 90s R&B to today's chart toppers. We carry the responsibility of juggling the corporate grind and family life (rich aunties with broke little besties)--often sandwiched between raising our young families and aging parents. For us, renovation isn't just about our homes--it's spiritual. It's how we make our spaces reflect the peace, purpose, and function our souls crave one DIY project (or multiple) at a time.

 

It's all of that and then some.

 

The truth is, being The Urban Suburbanite means embracing the authenticity of all these layers means and healing parts of ourselves along the way. We may not do it all, but we most certainly do it real!
